Gary R. Farmer has been in the music business for almost his whole life. He began performing at the age of eight and continues to this day. He has performed in 48 states of the USA and 4 countries. His knowledge of the music industry not only is in performance but includes the business and recording parts. He began recording at the age of 14 and has actively pursued songwriting and recording ever since. He formed the Farm Boy Music Group in 1985 to help singers and songwriters avoid pitfalls in the industry and do it at a price point that allowed them to be a success without investing their life's savings to create a product. Farm Boy Music Group is the parent company of www.countrysongcrafters.com and has not only a recording studio but also a publishing company, Farm Boy Music, BMI. He has extensive knowledge of every aspect of music creation from writing, publishing, and recording. He also understands contracts for music performance, touring, and marketing. As part of the recording process, he also does cd design, and is always researching emerging technologies for marketing beyond cd manufacturing.
