Char Puriri

Char Puriri is a very well known and accomplished entertainer in the NZ country music scene - especially in the Gisborne & Hawkes Bay region.In 2024, she won the Veteran Overall title at the Pounamu Country Music Awards and went on to win the coveted title of 2025 Veteran Entertainer of the Year by the New Zealand Country Music Association.
Char is a natural in a recording studio.  Blessed with beautiful vocals, her forthcoming album called 'Flying High' will be a mixture of her own original songs as well as covers.Flying High is a beautiful self-penned song written as a tribute to her Dad is the title cut for her upcoming album.This one is sure to tug on your heart strings.
