Wendy Jewel

Wendy Jewel from Hastings, New Zealand, began singing at an early with her Scottish grandfather. She began to hone the craft of songwriting also, having learned guitar. Her music is strongly influenced by country artists but she also is writing some wonderful gospel songs. In her 30's she decided to begin performing, eventually joining the popular band Legend. Since leaving the band she has performed at numerous shows around New Zealand, including festivals and club days. 2025 saw the release of Wendy's new album, "Wildflowers", produced by Gary R. Farmer and Joy Adams from Indie Music Consultants. She is currently recording her second album, due to be released later 2026. Her album is available directly from her. https://www.facebook.com/wendy.j.freeman
