Kevin Allum

Kevin Allum is a New Zealand songwriter and singer originally from Dunedin who specializes in country music. Often describing himself as a "singing poet," Allum has gained significant recognition in the traditional country scene despite starting his musical career later in life. His song "I've Always Had A Dream" was the title track for Tasmanian singer Con Whelan’s album, which successfully charted in Australia. His track "Molesworth Station" reached #4 on the Joyce Ramgatie Top 200 Artist Charts and saw success in the Top 40 singles. He was recently noted as a finalist for the NZCMA Songwriter of the Year in 2025. He favors a traditional country sound and has written tributes to legends like Australian icon Chad Morgan. http://www.facebook.com/kevin.allum.223556
